Ever since switching to OS X I've been missing Fruity Loops. There is a version using Crossover and I also have Parallels but it's just not the real deal.
In July ImageLine released a first native version of FL Studio 12 in their forum to prove that they actually work on a OS X version. There are a lot of features missing but after years without it firing it up again was as exciting as it was when I started producing.
Not a Fruity Loops user myself, but I do think it's cool to have a big player add OSX to its repertoire.
Then you missed out on some fun
It's like playing with Lego compared to Lego Technics (pun not intended)
I have tried it back in the day when they were still called Fruity Loops and they just released their dedicated controller.. (Which surprisingly didn't take off.)
Somehow the overall workflow did not match with my creative process flow.
Yeah personal tastes may differ a lot. The only thing I can remember is that I had a lot of creative output when I used it. Most sounded horrible but it was very fun to use.
Which controller do you mean? I never heard about it.
Well, I can't remember the name of it, Daniel probably will be able to recall it, as he wanted to buy it back in 2000 or 2001.
